DRUM RECONDITONING PLANT CONSIDERATIONS
For a drum reconditoning plant to be fully operational up to a capacity of 120 drums per hour,
a building land area of approximately 45m(L) x 45m(W) with a minimum ceiling height of 6m is
required with an electrical suppleu of 350amp voltage.

METHOD AND FLOW OF RECONDITONED DRUM
- External wire brushing to remove silkscreening marking, paper sticker and rust.
- Re-shape the circular rim by using chimer machine.
- De-dental of the drum at Test Pressure of 60 P.S.I.
- External washing with deagreaser to remove oil & dirt.
- Eight times of Internal washing of high pressure hot water system with degreaser, chemical solution and anti-rust chemical.
- Hot Air Blower to remove the water in the drum.
- Vaccum the drum by using suction Machine.
- Spray painting by using stoving paint.
- Drums will be baked dry in the oven compartment.
- Q.C Inspection before delivery.
